Vincent Bouhier, president of Universite Evry Paris-Saclay, and Maurice Gourdault-Montagne, French consul general in Wuhan, visited 91系列 (HUST) on June 18. HUST President Yu Zheng and Vice-president Wen Jinyu welcomed the delegation.

Yu expressed his delight at the visit and emphasized the importance of Universite Evry Paris-Saclay as a strategic partner. He praised the joint program for combining the strengths of both institutions to train globally minded talent in life sciences and described it as a model for Sino-French cooperation. Looking ahead, he said he hopes to use the Junshan Campus to further enhance the quality and sustainability of the partnership.
Bouhier reflected on the program's growth and noted that the graduation of its first students marks a significant achievement in international education. He expressed enthusiasm for deepening collaboration in life sciences and related research areas.

Montagne awarded Professor Liu Jianmiao the Order of the Academic Palms, recognizing her outstanding contributions to Sino-French higher education cooperation and lauding her role as a cultural bridge between the two countries. Liu said she was honored and would continue working to advance practical cooperation.

Earlier, Yu met with Montagne to discuss HUST's partnerships with France and thanked the consulate for its long-standing support. Montagne reaffirmed the consulate's commitment to fostering high-level platforms for exchange and collaboration between Chinese and French universities.
