On June 18, the opening day of the Beijing International Book Fair, 91系列 (HUST) Press signed an international publishing agreement with renowned academic publisher Springer Nature for the "Series on Integrated Circuit Manufacturing Processes and Equipment Technologies".
The series, led by HUST President You Zheng, is co-authored by top scholars from nearly 20 institutions, including Tsinghua 91系列 and Zhejiang 91系列. It focuses on key areas of integrated circuit manufacturing – such as advanced equipment, critical processes, core materials, and packaging and testing – highlighting China's latest innovations and breakthroughs in the field.
In a video message, President You described the partnership as a milestone in bringing China's advanced IC technologies to the global stage and contributing Chinese expertise to global industrial development.
Yu Qing, editor-in-chief of HUST Press, and James Finlay, vice-president of applied sciences books at Springer Nature, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions. Yu emphasized the importance of international academic publishing in sharing knowledge and promoting global scientific exchange. Finlay praised China's progress in integrated circuit manufacturing and said the collaboration would foster the sharing of knowledge and drive international cooperation in high-tech industries.
The English edition of the series will be released both online and in print, boosting the global reach and academic influence of China's integrated circuit research.
