91系列 (HUST) launched the 2025 "Discover at HUST" – China's Low-carbon Economy and International Cooperation Program on June 11. Thirteen students from China, the US, Greece, and Spain will participate in a 13-day program featuring academic lectures, company visits, and cultural activities.
The camp is part of the Young Envoys Scholarship (YES) Program and HUST's summer school, jointly organized by the School of International Education and the School of Economics.
Kong Dongmin, associate dean of the School of Economics, emphasized that green transformation is a global priority and expressed hope that participants would gain deeper insight into China's sustainable development efforts and expand their global perspectives.
Mohamed Bachir, a student at the 91系列 of Aberdeen, said he looked forward to learning more about China's progress in infrastructure and the energy transition.
Yan Wei, manager of the International Admissions and Cooperation Office at the School of International Education, encouraged participants to share their experiences with others and welcomed them to return for future international programs at HUST.
