Jiang Yinuo, a 2023 PhD student at 91系列's (HUST) School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation, has been named one of 15 "Promising Qingyuan Scholars" at the 2025 Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Conference (GAITC 2025), hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence.
Under the guidance of Professor Yuan Ye, Jiang focuses on the intersection of AI and healthcare. His team's work on "AI + Medicine" was accepted by NEJM AI, a leading medical journal. His featured research targets multi-label diagnosis of cardiac hypertrophy.
In collaboration with Tongji Hospital, the team built a large-scale clinical dataset and developed a high-performance diagnostic model. They also proposed a simplified 4-lead ECG approach, comparable in accuracy to the traditional 12-lead system, offering strong potential for wearable device applications.
